Sign up for ski trips at Snowdrifters meeting

The Fox Valley Snowdrifters Ski Club will hold its next general membership meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 21, at Old Towne Pub and Eatery, 201 W. State St. in Geneva.

It features the first signup opportunity for Western ski/snowboard trips. The 2014-2015 trips opening at this meeting include a weeklong trip to Sun Valley, Idaho (Jan. 17-24).

The club will be staying for seven nights in the condominiums that are adjacent to the historic Sun Valley Lodge. Five of seven-day lift tickets are included as well as round-trip air from Chicago.

The second Western trip offered is Feb. 24-March 5 to Copper Mountain. This trip includes round-trip air and ground from Chicago, five nights in Village Square Condominiums, four-day "secret pass" lift tickets (express special access to lift).

The third Western trip is Banff, Alberta. Round-trip air and ground, five nights at the Ptarmigan Inn and four-day lift pass good at Sunshine, Lake Louise and Norway.
