Garth Brooks to launch world tour in Rosemont

Country music superstar Garth Brooks is kicking off his world tour in Rosemont.

In his first local concert in 17 years, Brooks will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont.

Brooks is touring with his wife, fellow country singer Trisha Yearwood.

Tickets are $65.50 and go on sale to the public beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, July 25. There is a six-ticket limit per order.
