Jazz taking center stage in Glen Ellyn
Residents can sway to some sweet tones Saturday at the Jazz in Glen Ellyn concert in the village's downtown.
The festival will run from 2 to 11 p.m. on Main Street, about a block away from the downtown Metra station. Admittance is free.
Guests can bring their own chairs to watch the performances, but no coolers or tables are allowed.
Main Street will be closed to traffic Saturday from Crescent Boulevard to Pennsylvania Avenue for the festival.
The concert lineup features:
• The Fat Babies from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.;
• the Victor Garcia Organ Trio from 6 to 7 p.m.;
• the Paul Marinaro Quintet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.;
• and the Frank Catalano Group from 9 to 10:30 p.m.
