Folk duo Patchouli performs outdoor twilight concerts in Geneva

Geneva merchant Peaceful Parlour has announced its fourth season of "Twilights on the Terrace," a live outdoor music series with Patchouli. Julie Patchouli and master guitarist Bruce Hecksel play a blend of folk, pop, flamenco and jazz with world beat rhythms. Fourteen years of nonstop touring has honed this classically trained duo into legendary performers and are generally known as the hardest working folk duo in America.

Music at Peaceful Parlour is offered as part of the Outdoor Music Geneva entertainment program designed to enhance the overall downtown Geneva experience. Gourmet food will be available for purchase from Gracious Hall, another Geneva business and Peaceful Parlour will be sampling their house-blended organic, herbal teas. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for the event.

Owner Shari Ralish has had her doors open since 2010, when she first introduced eco-conscious, earth friendly and natural products to consumers in the Fox Valley.

"Twilights on the Terrace" with Patchouli will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Fridays, July 11, Aug. 15 and Sept. 19 at 212 S. Third St., Geneva. The event is free and families are welcome. To view all store events, visit peacefulparlour.com.
