New garbage cans bad for our health

I wonder if anybody has gone out on trash night and looked at the garbage cans that are easy for the garbage companies to empty. They don't seal like the old round aluminum cans that most people had, and the tops of the cans now get covered in maggots with the rain and humidity. I guess profit over health and safety.
