Thanks for helping ducks cross safely

This morning it restored my faith in humanity to see all four lanes of traffic on a very busy road during rush hour come to a complete stop to allow a duck and her brood to cross safely.

I was in the fast lane going south and the first one in my lane, watching and scared to death oncoming traffic would not see them and stop.

I blinked my lights and don't know if it helped or not, but fortunately I didn't have to throw myself in front of them.

Thank you to those who stopped, and those who waited patiently behind us for the duck and ducklings to make it across.
