Wheeling celebrates the holiday Thursday

Wheeling will celebrate An Evening under the Stars with bands and fireworks on Thursday, July 3.

Area residents can bring lawn chairs and picnic meals to the area just west of village hall, 2 Community Blvd., for the free party, Wheeling officials said.

Disc Jockey Alberto Toro will kick off the entertainment at 5:30 p.m., Midnight will follow at 6:45 p.m. and 7th Heaven will perform at 8:15 p.m.

The music will break at 9:15 p.m. for fireworks, then continue until 10:30 p.m.
