None injured in Sunday night Buffalo Grove apartment fire

Authorities in Buffalo Grove said no one was injured in a fire at an apartment complex Sunday night.

The building, located at 1114 Johnson Drive in Buffalo Grove, caught fire sometime around 6 p.m.

According to a Buffalo Grove Fire Department spokesman, crews were able to contain the fire to just the building, sparing the neighboring apartment complexes from serious damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The department declined to provide further details about the fire Sunday night, but said there will be more information on today.
