Parking lot work at Rosemont school

Pavement rehabilitation work is underway in the north and south parking lots of Rosemont Elementary School, officials said.

The village board this week approved a $147,665 contract with Orange Crush LLC to complete the project outside the school, located at 6101 N. Ruby St. The village is paying another $8,518 for the installation of handicapped ramps, Mayor Brad Stephens said.

Rosemont School District 78 has an agreement with the village that allows the village to fund the work.
