Church to perform 'Jericho: The Musical'

The biblical story of Joshua and the Battle of Jericho will be retold in a compelling format, "Jericho: The Musical," to be performed Sunday, June 15, by the Chancel Choir of Christ Church, United Church of Christ in Des Plaines.

Inserted into the regular 9:30 a.m. Sunday service and led by Choir Director James Brownold, the 35-minute musical employs a choir, several soloists, two narrators and piano accompaniment.
