Marine in Mexico a disgrace for U.S.

Marine in Mexico a disgrace for U.S.

I am so outraged, as every American should be, about Andrew Tahmooressi, a brave Marine being held in a Mexican jail because he made a wrong turn and ended up in Mexico instead of heading home to San Diego, California.

He fought two tours in Afghanistan, and has PTSD and his administration and State Department under John Kerry have left this brave Marine out to hang alone just like Hillary Clinton left the ambassador and three Americans alone in Benghazi, Libya.

What is wrong with this administration that they can't protect these Americans like they vow to do when they take their oath of office?

This is disgraceful and an almost treasonable act of indifference. This young man should have been on his way home within 72 hours after he ended up in Mexico. Here we send companies and thousands of jobs and tourists to Mexico and they can't return one lone American Marine who lost his way back to our country, without arresting him. This is truly an unconscionable decision made by Mexican officials.

Why can't the two presidents of Mexico and America get this young man home? It's outrageous.

As it turns out the turn he made and the road he ended up on was poorly lit, small signs, poorly designed and others have made the same mistake and if you miss the turnaround back to the U.S., you're out of luck and end up in Mexico. This has to be corrected and better signs put up by both countries.

Our State Department should be on this every day until Andrew is back. It seems that this administration doesn't like Americans let alone military personnel.
