Next 'conversation' let's have numbers

I attended Arlington Heights' State of the Village - A Community Conversation on April 30, which was covered by the Daily Herald the next day. The meeting was a great start in getting the message out on the current status of the village, school districts, library and park district and how our taxes are being spent.

What I would like to see in future meetings is a high level one-, five- and 10-year plan from these same organizations, their projected budgets for those milestone years, and how they see their plans potentially impacting taxes.
