One injured in six-car crash

A chain reaction collision Tuesday in Palatine involving six cars sent one person to the hospital officials said.
The incident occurred on Dundee Road east of Northwest Highway when one car struck the rear of another and triggered the chain reaction.
One person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District and the Village of Palatine Fire Department responded to the incident.
