Events for the month of June at Sol D'Licious Cafe!

With school ending, summer beginning, and Father's Day just around the corner, Sol D'Licious Café has a lot in store for the month of June.

Friday the 13th doesn't always have to be superstitious and frightening, in fact, it will be the complete opposite at the Paint N' Sip Party. Sol D'Licious is hosting artists from Don't Drink the Paint at 7:00 pm where one can enjoy a night of painting, organic wine or mimosas, and delicious snacks! It will be $50 at the door, or preregister at the café or online at www.sol-dlicious.com for a $10 discount.

On June 15th, families spend time together reminiscing of times they've enjoyed with the man of the household, and look forward to making more memories. These moments should be remembered, which is why Sol D'Licious is having Memory Café on June 26th. The event is held from 2:00-3:00 pm and allows for people to share stories and socialize with others who have worries about retaining their memory. While partnering up with the Alzheimer's Association, Sol D'Licious is making history by holding Kenosha's first Memory Café, so please call Mary Finley for more information and to RSVP at 262-595-2387.

Also, if one is looking for something to do on this special day, come to free Community Yoga at 1:00 pm, taught by Tanja Bungardt-Price. Bring your mats, fathers are especially welcome! Community Yoga is offered the third Sunday of every month, as well.

As summer "officially" starts on June 21st, Sol D'Licious has a couple events going on to start the season off right! Shopping for new summer styles will be a breeze at Joy's Boutique Trunk Show with Vickie Brown-Gurley. Come check it out from 12:00-4:00 pm!

During that time, also stop by the Drumming Workshop and Drum Circle being held from 1:00-3:00 pm. Heather Poyner from the Drum Hut will be hosting a workshop for the first hour, in which she teaches the basics, followed by a "no experience needed" drum circle for the second hour. Bring your drum, or play with one of the many provided percussion instruments. This event is $10 for both sessions, and $5 for one.

In the summer, gardens are bountiful just like the one at Sol D'Licious, where vegetables are grown and picked to use to make delicious fresh dishes. Also, customers can sit out on the patio by the garden; enjoy their meal, and the nice warm weather that June will bring.

Sol D'Licious Café is looking forward to the month of June, and hopes many can come and join in the festivities for promoting a "wholistic" healthy lifestyle; Mind, Body, and Sol!
