Competition tight for Huntley Rotary scholarships

The Huntley Rotary Club has awarded four scholarships to deserving seniors. Through an intense review by the Rotary Club scholarship committee, Jessica Chalas, Megan Wilson. Jaycelin Chan and Blake Jacobs were chosen to receive this year's awards.

The scholarships were awarded at the Huntley High School Awards Night on May 21, and presented by Rotary Club member Thom Palmer.

Each recipient will receive a check for $750 to help them begin their college career. Best wishes to all the graduates of the Huntley High School Class of 2014.
