Tim Schneider fishing derby is June 8

Cook County Commissioner Timothy O. Schneider is hosting his annual fishing derby from 9 a.m.-noon June 8 at Busse Woods Grove 25, in Elk Grove Village. Open to both adults and children the event is free, but bring your own fishing gear. Licenses not required to this event. Schneider is partnering with Friends of Busse Woods, Arlington Anglers, Cook County Forest Preserve District and Cabela's, which will have prizes.
