Seegers Road to be closed for two weeks

Seegers Road in Des Plaines, between Fourth Avenue and Rand Road, will be closed for railroad crossing repairs June 5 to June 20. The city recommends that all truck traffic and deliveries access Seegers Road from Broadway/Northwest Highway during this time. Driveways on Seegers Road east of Fourth Avenue will be accessible. Motorists are advised to use caution when driving in the area and to obey the posted signage.
