Property tax payment due:

The first installment of Lake County property taxes is due Thursday, June 5, and the second installment is due Sept. 5. The Lake County Treasurer's office has created a video to answer questions, and it has an assortment of information including billing history, property tax exemptions and more on its website http://www.lakecountyil.gov/treasurer. Payment options include by mail to 18 N. County St., Waukegan, 60085; online by credit card or e-check; in person at most banks and the treasurer's office; or, in drop boxes.
