Palatine man pleads guilty to drug charges
A Palatine man arrested in March following a drug sting has pleaded guilty to the manufacture and delivery of heroin, court records show.
In exchange for his guilty plea last week, Keith D. Williams, 26, was sentenced to eight years in prison and ordered to pay $2,789 in fines, records show.
Police say Williams sold heroin to an undercover officer on March 18. Officers set up a sting at the 1000 block of West Lake-Cook Road in Arlington Heights for April 2.
After Williams approached the undercover vehicle, officers identified themselves and Williams fled, police said.
