W. Dundee parish to host Eucharistic Miracles of the World exhibit

The Vatican International Exhibit, Eucharistic Miracles of the World, will be on display Friday, May 30, to Sunday, June 1, at the St. Catherine of Siena School gym in West Dundee, 845 W. Main St. in West Dundee.

The exhibition has been on display throughout the world as a witness to the Eucharistic miracles that involve incidences in which the Host has "turned into human flesh and blood."

Roman Catholics believe that the consecrated host is the body, blood, soul and divinity of our Lord, under the appearance of bread and wine. Through these miracles, Jesus manifests his presence in a more tangible way.

The public is invited to come and experience this photographic exhibition of the Eucharistic Miracles of the World, all of which have received full approval by the Roman Catholic Church. It is believed that throughout Christian history, the Lord has shown that he is really present as the Blessed Sacrament.

The Eucharistic Miracles of the World will be available for viewing Friday, May 30, from 4 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, May 31, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, June 1, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be ongoing during the exhibit in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at St. Catherine of Siena Church.

The Eucharistic Miracles of the World photographic exhibition is sponsored by the Real Presence Eucharistic Education and Adoration Association. Visit www.therealpresence.org.
