Community Character Coalition sponsors youth recognition

On the evening of May 13, the Community Character Coalition and the Village of Elk Grove Village recognized area youth for their community service work. The ceremony to recognize youth who displayed the Pillars of Citizenship and Caring, which are two of the Six Pillars of the CHARACTER COUNTS! Coalition, was held in the Village Boardroom during the Village Board meeting.

The following groups were recognized:

• Robert Frost School Leadership Team (District 59): Jovana Oreskovic, Daniel Oczko, Emili Nencheva, Deanna AlDakka, Natalie Bienasz, Joyce reyes Francisco Alberto Racinos, Ashley Villafuerte, Asia Nicole James, Kayla Daley, Athena Carteno, EstefaniaRodreguez and Sebastian Ayala

• Ridge Family Center for Learning JRFH Team (District 59): Katrina Kellet, Elsa Allam, Taylor Carolberg, Adam Gaynor, Kaitlyn Kerrigan, Ethan Brodeur, Trevor Ferrin, Dean Fries, Ivaylo Bogdanov and Ryan Trost
