Norris drives in winner for Antioch

Christian Norris delivered a single to deep center field with the bases loaded and two out in the bottom of the seventh, lifting Antioch's baseball team to a 1-0 win over Lake Forest Academy in nonconference action Friday.

Winning pitcher Ryan Karagiorgas allowed only 1 hit in a seven-inning complete game, striking out three and walking two. Adam Harvey and Bob Hamilton had the only other hits for the Sequoits.

Libertyville 7, Downers Grove South 3: Conor Simpson went 4-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI for the Wildcats in the nonconference game.

Hunter Van Wagner was 2-for-2 with a double for Libertyville (23-5). Ryan Jackson and Andrew Plunkett each had a single and 2 RBI.
