Cary-Grove 8, Wauconda 0: Jimmy Perkins went 3-for-3 with a double, a triple and an RBI and five Cary-Grove pitchers combined for a 1-hitter in this nonconference win. Rob Johnson had 2 hits including a double and Andrew Splitt added 2 hits for the Trojans (18-9). Nick Franz was credited with the pitching win.
