Rosary High offers sports academic summer camps

Rosary High School in Aurora will offer academic and sports camps for grade school and high school students in June and July. New this year are camps for girls in fifth through eighth grades in writing, science and music/drama.

Sports camps are offered for girls in volleyball and basketball, and for girls and boys in tennis and conditioning.

A writing camp, "Make Summer More than Just a Story" is offered June 9-12; "CSI Rosary: Forensic Science Camp" is June 16-19, and "Curtain Up: Theatre and Choral Arts Camp" is June 23-26. These camps are from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., and the cost for each is $80. To register for these camps, visit rosaryhs.com/camps.

The athletic camps are designed to help students develop skills and reach their full potential. Basketball camps for girls in fifth through 12th grades are available in June. Volleyball camps for girls in grades 5-12 will be in July.

Coed tennis camp for boys and girls fifth through eighth grades will be held in June at Marmion Academy in Aurora. Coed speed and strength conditioning camps for fifth through 12th grades will be held in July.

Costs range from $65 for grade school camps, $125 for high school camps, and $220 for the coed high school conditioning camp. To register for sports camps, go to rosaryhs.com/sports_camps.

Enrollment is limited, and acceptance is on a first-come, first-served basis.
