Rosemont streets in gated community to be repaved

Local streets within Rosemont's gated community will be repaved later this year, following the village board's approval Wednesday of a contract for the work. The board awarded a $829,737 contract to Mount Prospect-based Arrow Road Construction Co., to repave all streets within the neighborhood, which is accessible off Higgins Road via Scott Street. Most of the cost - $725,000 - is being covered by state motor fuel tax funds. The remainder will come from village funds.
