Glen Crest's Band, Orchestra and Chorus Compete in Music Festival
Glen Crest Middle School bands, chorus, and orchestra are traveling to Woodland Middle School in Gurnee, Illinois to participate and compete in the annual Music in the Park Festival. This contest includes middle school bands from all over the Midwest. Saturday, May 17, the buses leave the middle school parking lot and the musicians are on their way.
After the music contests in Woodland Middle School,the participates have the rest of the time in Six Flags Great America. The festival concludes with the award ceremony at Six Flags. Glen Crest band directors are Katrina Berry and Lev Garbar. The orchestra is directed by Kristi Ditsch and the chorus director is Paul Ropp. For information call the Glen Crest office at 630-469-5220.
