Illinois man dies in Little Wabash River

EFFINGHAM - A southern Illinois man has died after trying to retrieve a boat on the Little Wabash River.

The Effingham Daily News reports 26-year-old Andrew T. Donsbach was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Mason man's body was found Sunday after he was overcome by a swift current in the water.

Authorities are investigating.
