Barrington High School artists' snow plow creations to be unveiled
Village snow plows painted on the theme "Environmental Preservation" will be unveiled at a luncheon Tuesday, May 18, in Barrington, celebrating National Public Works Week.
The works are the result of a collaboration between the Barrington High School Arts Club and the Barrington Public Works Department. The colorful plows will be on display during the luncheon.
According to a news release, the week "recognizes public works infrastructure, facilities, and services as playing a pivotal role in the health, safety, and the well-being of (Barrington) residents."
The luncheon is for village staff and local homeowners association members.
