Town-hall meetings in District 59

Elk Grove Township Elementary District 59 will host three town-hall meetings beginning next week to inform parents and community members about what is taking place in the district, officials said.

The meetings will provide "an interactive venue" to talk about technology initiatives and what student learning experiences will look like in the future, according to a news release.

The meetings will be held Tuesday, May 13, at Friendship Junior High, 550 Elizabeth Lane in Des Plaines; Monday, May 19, at Holmes Junior High, 1900 Lonnquist Blvd. in Mt. Prospect; and Tuesday, May 20, at Grove Junior High, 777 Elk Grove Blvd. in Elk Grove Village.

All meetings are scheduled from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
