Dani's Dream Team raises money for Rett Syndrome Research at the 2014 Run for Rett

Despite 40 degree temperatures and a brisk wind, members of Dani's Dream Team came out in force to support the 2014 Run for Rett on April 27, 2014 in Busse Woods of Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The 5K walk/run raised money for the International Rett Syndrome Foundation whose mission is to support and encourage medical research to determine the cause, treatment and cure for Rett Syndrome and to provide support to families of those with Rett Syndrome. Rett Syndrome is a neurological disorder that is almost always seen in girls, taking away much of their abilities to walk, run, speak or use their hands. Dani's Dream Team is part of the Dani Lococo Foundation. Dani and her parents crossed the finish line together, taking one step closer to a cure for Rett.
