Document shredding, elecronics recycling

A document shredding and recycling event is set for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 3, at the Fremont Township center, 22385 W. Route 60, Mundelein. Limit two copy paper-size boxes per car for shredding. Accepted items include televisions, monitors, printers, computers (including tablet computers), electronic keyboards, fax machines, VCR recorders, portable digital music players, video game consoles, and more. Broken glass, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and large household appliances will not be accepted. For a complete list, visit www.swalco.org/electronics.
