Tollway meeting Thursday on Elmhurst Road interchange project

Illinois Tollway officials will host an informational meeting Thursday in Elk Grove Village about the ongoing the Elmhurst Road interchange construction project on the Jane Addams Tollway (I-90).

A new diverging diamond interchange is being constructed as part of the Elgin-O'Hare Western Access Project. The project is expected to be complete in 2016. Currently, drivers only have access to and from the east at Elmhurst Road.

Officials will discuss details of the project and answer questions in an open house format. The meeting will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Holiday Inn Elk Grove, 1000 Busse Road in Elk Grove Village.
