7th heaven headlining SEASPAR benefit

The band 7th heaven will perform Thursday, May 8, in Downers Grove to benefit SEASPAR, a group that provides year-round recreation services for individuals with disabilities.

The Chicago-based band will take the stage at 7 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre, 5021 Highland Ave.

Tickets are available in advance for $20 ($25 after May 2) at the SEASPAR office, 4500 Belmont Road in Downers Grove, and at Anderson's Bookshop in downtown Downers Grove. Concert proceeds will benefit SEASPAR.

7th heaven has reached the top of the Midwest Billboard charts twice in the past two years. The band has been heard on seven Chicagoland radio stations with its hits "Better This Way" and "Sing."

Also known for the "30 Songs in 30 Minutes" medley of tunes from the '70s and '80s, 7th heaven has been an entertainment staple for 29 years.

Patrons of Scarletti's Italian Kitchen and Gatto's Restaurant & Bar who present their concert tickets on the night of the event will have 10 percent of their dinner bill donated to SEASPAR. Event sponsors are the Tivoli Theatre, Bank Financial, Scarletti's Italian Kitchen and Gatto's Restaurant & Bar.
