Lake Villa fire open house

The Lake Villa Fire Protection District hosts an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 27, to celebrate the new Station 4, 37800 N. Route 59. Firefighters and district trustees will be on hand to speak with visitors. A ladder truck will be available for viewing and tours of the station will be offered. The station was staffed Feb. 1.
