Police, FBI investigate Huntley bank robbery

The FBI and Huntley police are investigating a Friday afternoon bank robbery in which a man demanded money by showing a note to the teller, police said.

At 12:38 p.m., police were dispatched to the Heartland Bank in the 12100 block of Regency Parkway on reports of a bank robbery, according to a news release.

After the man passed the note to the teller, he received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on foot, police said.

The man, estimated to be between 25 and 35 years old, was about 6 feet tall, wore a tan blazer with a blue button-down shirt, dark pants and brown shoes, police said.

Nobody was injured and the man never drew a weapon, officials said.
