Small apartment fire in Des Plaines
Firefighters extinguished a small kitchen fire Thursday morning at a Des Plaines apartment complex.
Crews responding to the call just after 9 a.m. at a four-story apartment building at 650 Murray Lane extinguished the fire within minutes, containing it to the kitchen of one of the units, authorities said.
No injuries were reported.
