Schmitz leads Conant victory

Junior Connor Schmitz scored a game-high 9 goals to help Conant past host Schaumburg 14-9 on Monday in a Mid-Suburban West boys water polo matchup.

West division leader Palatine, meanwhile, cruised past Hoffman Estates 21-9.

MSL East leader Hersey stayed perfect in the division at 6-0 with a 7-4 victory over Buffalo Grove as Jack Carroll scored a game-high 4 goals.

Fremd edged Barrington 14-12 as Lucas Stark (6 goals) and Dylan Assmann (3) led the attack. Sam Miseyka had a game-high 7 goals for the Broncos.
