Mid-Suburban West girls water polo leader Conant got another winning result Wednesday, topping Buffalo Grove 12-3 to remain unbeaten against MSL foes.
Carmen Rosas led the way with 5 goals and 4 steals as the Cougars limited the Bison to 1 first-half goal.
Angie Skittone, Claire Rosas and Emily Weingart had 2 apiece for Conant, and Maddie Demaret stopped 8 shots.
Palatine 5, Prospect 4: The Pirates turned back a strong effort from the visiting Knights as Caroline Wojtas scored twice and Kim Butler stopped 17 Prospect shots.
Nikki Neumann scored twice for the Knights (6-4), who led 3-2 at the half but didn't scored in the third quarter.
Rachel Chumbook, Palatine's top scorer, did not play due to illness.
Hersey 13, Schaumburg 3: The visiting Huskies had three players with 3 goals apiece in a decisive win over the host Saxons. Hersey (8-2) is part of a three-way tied for the MSL East lead with Prospect and Wheeling each at 4-1.
Barrington 15, Elk Grove 6: Sam Gavars led the way with 6 goals as the Fillies (4-6) prevailed in an MSL crossover. Dominika Struk led Elk Grove's effort with 4 goals.
Rolling Meadows 6, Hoffman Estates 5: The host Mustangs earned their second win of the season with a 1-goal decision against the Hawks.
