Best government money can buy

The conservative Roberts Court recently eviscerated what remained of the campaign finance laws after the 2010 Citizens United ruling, thereby insuring that wealthy donors and major corporations can elect their favorite politicians.

They can buy the elections. And, if that fails, they can hire an army of lobbyists to push their favorite legislation to secure government subsidies and tax loopholes. The money they save by dodging taxes can be spent on the next election cycle to buy another election.

What ever happened to "one person, one vote?" I guess if you're rich you get more Democracy. In the U.S. we have the best government money can buy.
