Prairie Ridge stops Barrington's home streak

Prairie Ridge's softball team ended Barrington's 15-game winning streak at the Fields of Dreams with a 5-2 victory over the Fillies on Friday.

The visiting Wolves scored 3 runs in the first inning en route to their second win of the season without a loss.

Freshman Hailey Baker, who committed to Florida Gulf Coast before she even threw her first high school pitch, tossed a 6-hitter for Prairie Ridge.

Barrington (3-2) was led at the plate by freshman Carly Kordich (2-for-4).
