District 50 to 'Keep on Moving'

Woodland Elementary District 50's Parent Teacher Association and the Woodland Educational Foundation will co-host the 3rd Annual Keep on Moving 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on May 9. The event features a one-mile run/walk at 5:30 p.m., followed by a 5K run/walk for runners of all ages at 6 p.m. Proceeds will be shared by both organizations to fund initiatives for students and staff. The event will be held at Woodland Middle School, with the run going through the Bittersweet Golf Course in Gurnee. Entry fees are $30 for the 5K (online or with mail-in registration form) and $35 on race day; $12 for the 1 mile with T-shirt/$6 without a T-shirt. The first 250 registrants for the 5K will receive a technical T-shirt. Online registration, and mail-in registration forms are available at www.wildcatsgogreen.com through April 25.
