Dog adoption event:

Our House of Hope K-9 Rescue hosts a special dog adoption event from 1 to 3 p.m. April 5, at Pets General Store in the Country Court Shopping Center, 432 Peterson Road, Libertyville. Visitors can meet and interact with dogs available for adoption. Personal pets should be left at home to avoid confusion. A special appearance will be made by "Friday," a local rescue dog who will star in "Legally Blonde, The Musical" at the Sheely Center for The Performing Arts in Northbrook.
