Get your season passes to Hall Quarry Beach

It's time to start thinking warmer weather and summer fun. Hall Quarry Beach season passes went on sale March 24. The first 100 households to purchase a season pass will receive a complimentary beach ball.

Several new changes are coming to the Quarry this year. For the first time, the season has been extended and Hall Quarry Beach will open Memorial Day weekend, weather permitting.

Several items will be added to the concession stand, including nachos, hot dogs and pretzels. More deck chairs will be added, games and events will be held throughout the summer, and several new attractions are being added, including a Wiggle Bridge and Splasher.

Resident season pass rates are: $48 for ages 3-59, $20 for ages 60-plus, $85 for a family of two, $130 for a family of three, $170 for a family of four, and $30 for each additional pass.

Nonresident season pass rates are: $75 for ages 3-59, $30 for ages 60-plus, $130 for a family of two, $200 for a family of three, $270 for a family of four, and $30 for each additional pass.

Rates will increase May 24; be sure to take advantage of this discounted price. Season passes are available for purchase at the Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson St., or the Eastside Community Center, 14 N. Van Buren St., during regular business hours.

Hall Quarry Beach occupies a former stone quarry owned by the Batavia Park District. It features a sand bottom swimming area covering 60,000 square feet that includes islands, slides and a diving area. There's a playground and plenty of picnic tables as well.
