Heroin task force meets:

A public hearing of the Youth Heroin Use Task Force will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, Pavilion B, 1475 E. Belvidere Road (Route 120) Grayslake. The hearing is chaired by state Rep. Sam Yingling, who has led hearings on the heroin epidemic in Springfield and Rockford and more are planned. Saturday's session will feature public officials on the task force and local experts. Anyone wishing to attend or give testimony should email repsamyingling@gmail.com or call (847) 231-6262.
