Cardinal George out of the hospital

Cardinal George was released from Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood Friday afternoon after being admitted on March 14 due to flu-like symptoms and dehydration. An archdiocesan news release said the infection was identified and is being treated with antibiotics, and that the cardinal will resume chemotherapy when his doctors feel it is appropriate. Officials said he will continue to maintain his administrative and public schedule.
