Still time to view Oakton's Nature Project

There's still time to view ecologically themed works by Oakton Community College art students and faculty featured at the free exhibition The Nature Project at the Brickton Art Center, 306 Busse Highway, Park Ridge.

This display closes Saturday, March 29.

The Nature Project emphasizes "going green" and showcases paintings, ceramics, sculpture, photography, and drawings displaying birds, trees, flowers, and other environmental subjects. Lou Pierozzi and Judy Langston, Oakton art professors, curate the exhibition.

"This exhibit offers a variety of work on the topic of nature using a wide assortment of media, says Langston. "Everyone loves nature and people will definitely be inspired by the collection."

The Brickton Art Center is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
