Stevenson board approves deal:

The Stevenson High School District 125 board on Monday approved a plan to withdraw from the Special Education District of Lake County in 2015. Stevenson officials want to provide services to special-education students locally rather than through SEDOL. Lincolnshire-Prairie View Elementary District 103 and Kildeer-Countryside Elementary District 96 officials are taking similar steps as part of the plan. The Lake County regional board of education must ratify the deal as well. It's scheduled to take a vote April 7.
