Open house on bike trail connection:

An open house regarding the possible construction of a new trail near Route 137 and Butterfield Road is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at the Libertyville Township office at 359 Merrill Court in Libertyville. The Bull Creek trail would connect bicyclists and pedestrians to natural areas, a regional trail system, neighborhoods, parks, local shops and restaurants.
