Bartlett Public Library recognizes winter readers

The Bartlett Public Library recognizes the 605 children who participated in this year's Winter Reading Club.

There were 44 babies and toddlers enrolled in the program who earned free books by completing eight or more early literacy activities, and the 243 third- through sixth-graders who completed 10 hours of reading were also awarded free books. In addition, 173 participants successfully completed a variety of literacy activities to win prizes from the Chicago Wolves. Congratulations to these successful readers.

The Winter Reading Club was co-sponsored by the Friends of the Bartlett Public Library and the Chicago Wolves.

The Bartlett Public Library District, 800 S. Bartlett Road, provides programs and services to meet the needs of the community. For more information and a complete listing of scheduled programs, call (630) 837-2855 or visit online 24/7 at www.bartlettlibrary.org.
