Pension packages of others are weighing on seniors
I read the article about the retiring Buffalo Grove High School principal, and what a great job she did for 39 years. I have no doubt that she was a wonderful teacher. They left out one last line for the article: What's her pension going to be? Also, what's Northwest Suburban High School District 214 Superintendent Mr. Schuler's pension package going to be when he leaves?
The pensions of some of these people are on the backs of seniors on fixed incomes. Our property tax bills just keep going up because of that special few who make $100,000 to $300,000 a year, and in some cases more, in retirement packages.
